The Jaws Verbosity Dialog

Pressing INSERT-V will open the verbosity dialog. The options within the 
dialog may be accessed in a couple of ways:
List of 2 items
• Use the UP AND DOWN ARROW KEYS
• Press the first letter of the item for which you are searching

When the option you would like to configure gains focus, you may select a 
configuration with the SPACEBAR. Once the options are configured, press 
ENTER
to save the changes.

Remember that these options are temporary. When the application is closed, 
the settings will be restored to the defaults.

The options available within the Verbosity Dialog are:

Personalized Web Settings

Jaws has an option entitled "Personalized Web Settings."  With this feature, 
you can set custom verbosity settings for a domain. A domain would 
encompass
all documents on a website.  For example, if you were to set custom settings 
on any page at http://www.accesstechnologyinstitute.com, then all pages on
the ATI domain would have the personalized settings available.

If you were to visit a sub domain, such as 
http://support.accesstechnologyinstitute.com, the settings would not apply 
because the website is on a sub domain
of ATI.

You may set personalized settings by following these steps:
List of 3 items
• Focus on a page within the domain for which you would like to create 
personalized settings
• Press SHIFT-INSERT-V to open the personalized settings verbosity 
dialog. (This dialog is the same as the standard verbosity dialog of JFW 
previously discussed.)
• Press ENTER to save the changes and create the personalized settings.

You may clear personalized settings by activating the "clear personalized 
settings" option within the personalized settings dialog. Press ENTER to 
save
the changes and clear the personalized settings.
